Dangsilog

I consider this a feast, what a lovely morning when your breakfast is like this! Wash your hands now and eat with me :-). Dangsilog is one of the best selling among silogs, the dried rabbitfish (danggit) is so delicious and crispy   in every bite.

Serve it by frying the egg, danggit and rice then prepare in a serving platter and enjoy.

Bangsilog

A perfect breakfast for my mom, that's why I prepared this for her when I visited her last month. She had it with coffee and a nice chat with me :-). Yummy!

Bangsilog is another Filipino combo meal composed of Bangus ( milkfish), Sinangag( Fried Rice) and Itlog ( Egg).

This is easy to prepare just clean the milkfish, add salt, lime or calamansi juice then fry until golden brown.

Fry the egg sunny side up style then set aside.

For the fried rice, just saute the garlic then add a cup of rice and stir properly until done.

Arrange  the fried fish, fried egg and fried rice in a platter and serve with a smile :-).

Tuysilog

My common breakfast during my college days because it is very easy to prepare and ingredients are always available at a nearby "sari-sari store" :-).

To prepare tuysilog we need the  following:
oil for frying
 garlic
 tuyo (dried fish)
egg
1 cup cooked rice, if leftover rice is available the better. (mashed)

Crushed 1 clove of garlic then saute until brown, add the cooked rice and stir until done. Set aside.
Fry the egg and the dried fish, set aside.
Arrange in a serving plate the dried fish, fried rice and egg then serve and enjoy.

Bacsilog

I woke up late that's why I served my guest a very quick to prepare Filipino breakfast composed of bacon, fried rice  (sinangag)and egg (itlog)or simply known as "bacsilog".

Simply fry the egg and bacon then toss some leftover rice in the pan, season with salt and pepper then stir until done, prepare everything in a platter and eat like a VIP :-).

Tosilog

One of the popular breakfast combo in the Philippines among "silogs" is this one, "TOSILOG" composed of
Tocino=TO - this is a sweet cured meat, it can be beef, pork or chicken.
Sinangag=SI- Filipino term for Fried Rice
Itlog= LOG - Filipino term for egg

My nephews and nieces love this combo, once in a while they can have it.
This is very easy to prepare, just cook the tocino and set aside.
Make fried rice and fried some eggs then arrange everything in a platter and serve.
